Northern Tradition Astrological Propitiation
If you’re having trouble with a transit that is afflicting one of your personal planets, you pray to and/or make an offering to the deity who stood up to be associated with that combination of planets, and ask them for help … or if you’re coming into a positive transit and you want to make the most of it, make an offering to that deity to enhance it. Thus, NT astrological remedies! It literally gives someone a personal schedule of offerings/prayers to make, custom-created for the shifting tides of their life, changing as the Cosmos affects them in different ways. It could also be used to help people handle/understand difficult aspects in their own chart, or difficult interaspects between people’s charts – both parties could pray for help together. Some deities/spirits have only one, while others may have as many as five, classed by heiti – that’s the way it worked out when they told me.
